3624 prioritizes safety in whatever we do, wherever we do it. All of our members are well-informed on basic safety procedures, and if a member wishes to work on the robot come January, they must attend a Safety lecture and demonstrate proficiency in advanced safety procedures.
Safety is not just a procedure; safety is a mindset. We believe that all FIRST teams should be aware of the importance of safety - so, we idealize a "Safety Should Be Shared" philosophy. At regional events, our team hands out battery safety kits and battery straps to other teams. 3624 is a member of the Safety Coalition, an organization of FRC teams that dedicated their efforts to spreading awareness of safety.
